About Our Company

American Cleaning & Fumigating was established in 1948 by Mr. Farley and has been locally since. There were 3 more owners before we acquired the business in June of 1980. At that time areas rugs and upholstery were cleaned in our plant and our main services. In-home carpet cleaning was still fairly new, but rapidly grew and became our number one service within 5 years.

Rob Cartwright started with us in 1991 and worked his way up to the Master Cleaner Certification, which is the highest achievement for a carpet cleaning technician.  This involved many years of training, classes, testing and work. Rob is now spending more time doing carpet repairs, including bonded inserts, spot dye, restretching and color blending, also leather upholstery cleaning.

Nate Engholm joined us in 2007; he earned his Carpet, then Upholstery Cleaning Certifications within his first year with us and is working toward his Journeyman Certification this year.

Andrew Thompson is our newest technician as of  2008 and received his Carpet Cleaning Certification within months of joining our firm.

We are very proud of each of our technicians and their achievements since joining our company.

Belinda Mower has been with us for more than 5 years and is our Office Manager.  She is the cheery voice that greets you when you call! Belinda keeps the office running smoothly and is very organized.  Raising 3 children was the perfect experience for this job!

I started in the office and then cleaning upholstery in my spare for many years!  I am currently working on my Master Cleaner Certification and still learning new things about the textile cleaning industry daily.

AAmerican Cleaning Bob’s has been an IICRC Certified Firm since 1982. IICRC is an international association that provides education, testing and certification for the textile industry.  Their website is IICRC.org if you would like more information.
